Beginning her career as nurse, and then spending many years as a Human Resources professional, Linda brings a holistic and caring approach to teaching yoga.
Linda began her yoga journey in 2009 while living and working in Sydney and instantly knew she'd found something that would be the cornerstone of her life. Linda is a fully insured, Qualified Yoga Alliance 200-Hour Certification (RYT200) Instructor. The style of yoga she teaches is Purna, which focuses on pranayama (breath), meditation, philosophy and asana (postures). Linda also teaches Yin Yoga, which is a beautiful restorative style of yoga where the poses are held for longer periods of time. Yin is wonderful for flexibility, increased circulation in the joints as it targets both the deep connective tissues between the muscles, and the fascia throughout the body. It's an absolute to reduce stress and brings calm and relaxation to body and mind.

YogaLinda arose out of a desire to provide yoga for everybody. It is for everyone who has ever said "I can’t do yoga, I’m not confident, I’m not flexible, I’m not comfortable."
YogaLinda teaches in a gentle instructional way so that those new to yoga are safe, not confronted in any way , leaving students feeling refreshed relaxed and at one with themselves.
Are you mature aged or have mobility issues? After studying and practicing yoga for some years, Linda saw a need for a gentler type of modified form of yoga suitable for people with less mobility, and / or recovering from medical treatment. So in addition to her Purna and Yin classes, Linda now offers Chair Fit . Fit Yoga is taught in a caring and nurturing environment. These modified classes allow students to begin, or continue, practicing yoga.
